(&ldquo;JKR&rdquo;) we recognize the  importance of protecting your privacy and we have policies in place to maintain  the confidentiality and security of your personal information. The following  policy is designed to help you understand what information we collect from you  and how we use that information to serve your account as your financial  organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Types of Information We  Collect<\/strong><br \/>\n  We collect personal information about you that is either  provided to us by you or obtained by us with your authorization, including name,  address, phone number, social security number, age, birth date, citizenship,  and identification numbers such as driver&rsquo;s license or passport. JKR considers  your financial data to be private and confidential, and we hold ourselves to  the highest standards of trust in their safekeeping and use.<\/p>\n<p>In our day-to-day business, there can be a need to share  information with third parties that you have chosen to do business with, such  as Pershing LLC or Charles Schwab, JKR&rsquo;s custodians. This information could  consist of Public<br \/>\n  Information, such as that listed in a phone book, or Nonpublic  Information, such as your social security number, date of birth, identification  number, etc.<\/p>\n<p>We want you to know how we handle and protect your Nonpublic  Information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing of Confidential  Information<\/strong> <br \/>\n  It is the policy of JKR to protect the privacy of any Nonpublic  Information about past, present or prospective clients who are natural persons.  It is our policy not to sell information under any circumstances and to limit  disclosure of Nonpublic Information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to third parties who are authorized by law or  rule of any regulatory authority to have the information (such as securities  regulators);<\/li>\n<li>to persons who have been authorized to receive  information in writing by the client whose Confidential Information is being  shared (such as the client&#8217;s accountant or advisor);<\/li>\n<li>to third parties that perform services on our  behalf (such as auditors, accountants, and attorneys, all of whom are subject  to strict confidentiality requirements); and<\/li>\n<li>if necessary in providing our services to our  clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How We Protect Nonpublic  Information<\/strong><br \/>\nWe have implemented several procedures that we believe are  reasonably designed to protect Nonpublic Information, if any, that we may  obtain. These procedures include (1) keeping hard copies of documents  containing Nonpublic Information in locked cabinets; (2) protecting electronic  information by password, encryption or similar means; (3) limiting the persons  at our JKR who have access to Nonpublic Information to only those persons that  need the information to perform their duties; and (4) limiting access by  service providers to Nonpublic Information to only those persons who are  required by contract or law to maintain the confidentiality of Nonpublic Information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Privacy Policy At JKR &amp; Company Inc.
